Take the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy Skilled Rider Course to fine tune your riding. Designed for the seasoned road veteran or the recent New Rider Course graduate, this 6 to 7 hour class will help improve your techniques for braking, swerving, cornering, and much more.

A one-day course that complements your basic skills and helps with personal risk assessment. It includes a fast-paced classroom segment with several fun interactive activities to improve perception and hazard awareness. Range exercises enhance both basic operating skills and crash-avoidance skills. Improving your braking and cornering finesse is emphasized. The course is beneficial for riders on any type of street motorcycle.

THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON® RIDING ACADEMY SKILLED RIDER COURSE

No matter how experienced you are, there’s always something new to learn. If you’re an experienced rider who is serious about becoming a better rider, taking the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy Skilled Rider Course is a great way to hone your existing skills, increase your confidence, and learn new mental skills and street strategies. You’ll learn advanced techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering, swerving, and more − all while riding your own motorcycle.

REQUIREMENTS

To take this course you will need:

• Proof of ownership of a safe, street-ready motorcycle
• Proof of motorcycle insurance
• Satisfactory T-CLOCS inspection of motorcycle
• Signed SRC Student Waiver & Release Forms, Ground Rules Acknowledgement Forms
• A valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement or a learner’s permit
• A minimum of 2,000 miles experience on your own motorcycle
• Proper protective riding gear: jeans, sturdy over-the-ankle and rubber-soled boots or shoes, full-fingered leather-type gloves, protective eyewear, and D.O.T. approved helmet

MOTORCYCLE

You will need your own motorcycle. All motorcycles must be street-ready and subject to a T-CLOCS inspection prior to the beginning of the class session.

Our course cancellation policy is:

• Full refund if you cancel more than 1 week before course date/time and your place can be filled with another student (either by us or by you).
• Gift card refund if you cancel less than 1 week, but more than 24 hours, before course date/time.
• No refund if you cancel less than 24 hours before course date/time.

COURSE SCHEDULE

This course is held over a two-day period at our sister store, Seacoast Harley-Davidson®.

These courses are scheduled to be held on Saturday or Sunday.

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (including breaks and lunch)

Minimum of 8 students, maximum of 12 students per class.

COST

The Skilled Rider Course cost is $125.
